Railway website is full steam ahead!

We were approached by Graeme from Railway House with a brief to take a system which he was currently using and recreate it adding in some additional functionality. This website has been a nice little project for the Koodoo development team.

Although the system is nothing ground breaking and nothing too taxing for our development team we have been able to provide the client with a system which enables them to manage their business much more productively.

The system incorporates a number of calendar views to enable an ‘at a glance summary’ of what apartments are booked, which are not available for public booking and what overriding price is set for a given night. The system also makes the booking procedure for the customer a much more relaxing experience. The design of the site has been designed to be calming and inviting whist the system has been built to enable the customer to book quickly and easily.

Trade Interchange

In the down time between working really really hard on Yakuza Clothing we have had time to fit in Trade Interchange its live and we think it looks pretty cool. Not that thats the most important thing, functionality is of course... Well have to say its pretty good at that 2 (i developed it so im going to say that!)

The brief was to develop a CMS web site using asp and a MS SQL server 2000 db. Easy we said and got to working on it straight away. It has all the usual, built with SEO in mind, CSS'd up and a clever flash banner (which i also did)

So were gettin some nice/clever sites out now building up a great reputation as we go.

Keep posted we have some excellent projects on the way

Koodoo’s can-do people beef up the big launch

AN INNOVATIVE North East creative agency has proved the perfect choice to help the region’s leading business membership organisation launch a new campaign.

Koodoo Creative has designed the website for the North East Chamber of Commerce’s (NECC) Innovation campaign, launched in partnership with BT, which aims to showcase the best examples of forward thinking amongst North East businesses.

Adam Lee and his team, Sam Whisker and James Mills, are the brains behind the new website - www.northeastinnovation.co.uk - which will be used to inform North East businesses how they can get involved in the campaign.

Adam said: "Working with the likes of NECC and BT has been a fantastic opportunity for Koodoo, as it has provided us with a chance to show the big organisations in the region exactly what we are capable of.

"The new campaign is a great idea and will really open up the playing field to all businesses in the North East, large and small, to show just how much innovation is in the area."

Ross Smith, NECC head of policy and research, said: “It stands to reason that a campaign launched to showcase innovation would need an innovative website to match, and the work Koodoo has produced has really delivered on that.

"The North East is a hot bed of innovation right now, and the campaign will not only highlight this, but look at what more can be done to support it. The website will play a key part in communicating that, so we are delighted with the job Koodoo has done."

Pet&r website goes live

Pet&r earlier this month appointed Koodoo Creative to re-develop there website.

Pet&r stands for Personnel, Equality, Training & Recruitment and they are an independent HR consultancy, working nationally in the public, private and voluntary sectors.

The website offers an ecommerce solution for Pet&r to sell downloadable files. The Content Management System which powers the website has been built from the grown up specifically for Pet&r’s requirements. Payment has been linked with the popular and safe money payment system PayPal and downloadable pdf’s are protected with secure links which expire after a given time.

Given the amount of information provided for this website the design remains crisp and clear and the information is broken up into logical sections to make it easy for the user to find what they are looking for along.
